IPA DTG: Self-Defence Training in Chester UK, 07.-09.09.2018

On behalf of the IPA’s Defensive Tactics Group (DTG), please see below information on a self-defence training course taking place in the UK in September:

The IPA Defensive Tactics Group will be running a Self-Defence Weekend training event in Chester on Friday 7th 8th and 9th September. This is not a martial arts event and no skill or prior training is required. It is aimed at improving your survivability in a violent situation. It is simple, effective and easy to master. No age limits or particular fitness requirements other than general fitness for work. It is great fun and very relevant. It will test your skills and ultimately test yourself.

Clothing can be anything you wish to train in but we advise that it is something similar to the clothing you would likely wear in a real fight. Tee shirt, pants and boots/trainers would normally fit the bill. Make sure its old and can get dirty.

You can attend any one two or all three days. Whatever suits you.

We will accept family and friends but not children (under 18).

It will be held in Chester in the Westminster Park, Hough Green, CH4 8JQ. I am still sorting out a wet weather venue TBC.
